Job Description

Wakefield Council is seeking two Adults Advanced Social Workers to join the Hospital Social Work Team on a temporary basis, based at 20-22 Bar Lane, Wakefield (WF1 4AD).

This is a locum role running from 22 June to 31 August 2026, paying £22.20 per hour. You will be working as part of the hospital social work team, supporting adult service users through the discharge and assessment process.

To be considered, you must hold a recognised social work qualification and be registered with Social Work England. Hospital discharge or acute hospital social work experience would be an advantage.
