Family Support Worker

Essential Criteria

NVQ level 3 on Children and Young People Or Health and Social Care, or higher

Must have experience supporting both young people and/or their families

Driving License and use of a vehicle – all mileage is paid

The Ability and availability to start immediatley – with a DBS on the update service

Duties:

To support young people and their families – Homelessness / housing issues / refugee and Asylum / Care Leavers and Children in Care and any other issues facing families in Liverpool

Rate: £14-14.50 an hour + Mileage

Semester Recruitment Specialise in Supporting Young People ages 5-18 in supported living, semi independant accommodation and children’s residential homes.

We are currently looking for a Family Support Outreach Worker to join the team in Liverpool on an ongoing temporary contract.

This position will last a minimum of 3 months but a lot longer than this.

MONDAY TO FRIDAY OFFICE HOURS

Perfect if you are between jobs, or looking for an exciting new career.

This is a long term Temporary position but it may go permanent after 12 weeks if you are loooking for permanent work.

Shifts are typically 9-5 Monday to friday

Although temporary, this is full time and ongoing with no end date.

This is supporting both families and their children during difficult times.

It is essential that you have experience of working within a similar setting and preferably have completed NVQ3 Children & Young People Workforce or a similar qualification within this sector.

Qualifications/ Requirements

High standard of general education.

NVQ Level 3 Health & Social Care – Children and young People (CCYP) or equivalent.

Willingness to undertake further training.

Current full driving licence with business Insurance preferable
