Job Description

Experienced level three social worker required to work in a busy small Adults Safeguarding Team, experience essential. The role will entail emergency duty visits and there will be a mix of working in the office and from home. The ideal candidate will have prior knowledge of the Carefirst IT database system ,however not essential. They should have excellent IT skills. They will be flexible and hold a drivers license and have use of a car for work. The ideal candidate will be able to work on their own initiative alongside being able to support the team. They will have an excellent knowledge of the Care Act 2014 and section 42 duties and will also be knowledgeable in terms of the Mental Capacity Act 2005.

You must have:

  • A professional qualification in social work and experience of working with Adults
  • Social Work England registration.
  • Post qualified experience.
  • Enhanced DBS/Update service.
  • References required for the last 5 years of employment.
