ESSENTIAL:
Experience supporting young people in a residential setting.
Salary: £12 PH
Shifts: 24 hr, 7 shifts per month (basic full time contract)
Shifts are not waking nights; you will be paid your full rate per hour for your sleep
Shifts are 24 hours based on a rolling rota of 1 on 3 off, 10:00 – 10:00.

Our Client is committed to supporting young people throughout their journey’s whether that be in children’s homes, fostering or leaving care. We are looking to recruit support staff to join our clients Family within there leaving care service. Working with young people aged 16+ with a wide range of support needs, you will be supporting and guiding them to developing their life skills to enable them to live independently.
Role Overview
- Be part of a multi-agency team of professionals
- Lone working with the service user
- Sleep in shifts
- Promoting, supporting and empowering young people to engage in education, training or employment
- Developing life skills for example, meal preparation, house cleaning, washing, what to do in emergency situations, financial planning
- Support, empower and enable the young people to understand life post 18 and make positive choices for their future independence
About you
Do you have a can-do attitude, are you passionate and resilient and committed to supporting young people to ensure positive outcomes.
You will need to be adaptable, flexible, and work as part of a team to ensure that our clients values are delivered.
