Role: IRO – Children’s Services

Team: Looked After Team
Hours: (Full Time) 36 hours
Contract: 3 months with potential to be extended
Rate: £32-35ph umbrella (dependant upon experience)

The role is for an IRO to cover the Cared for (Looked After) reviews for children and young people in care as well as to also chair some Pathway Plan reviews. To have a quality assurance role and provide scrutiny and oversight of the care plans of children in care and ensure their needs are being met. To chair cared for reviews either virtually currently but as we move forward some will be face to face and to support the Q A and audit functions of our service.

You must have:

  • A professional qualification in Social Work and experience of working with Children
  • Social Work England registration or Social Care Wales registration for North Wales.
  • Post qualified experience.
  • Enhanced DBS/Update service.
  • References required for the last 5 years of employment.
