Job Description

Please be aware this is a Long Term Temporary post to start ASAP.

The following is essential criteria:

– Degree in Social Work

– SWE Registration

– Right to work within the UK

Sefton Council and looking to recruit an agency social worker to support the Learning Disability and Autism Team. Purpose is to assess the 50 young people aged 16+ currently wating to be allocated in the current adult locality teams. This worker will help to assess these young people, commission any support required post 18, and work alongside the young person, their family and the SEND team in Sefton to look at post-school education, and/or employment and work opportunites.

Please be aware this is a Long Term Temporary post to start ASAP.

You must have:

  • A professional qualification in social work
  • Social Work England registration.
  • Post qualified experience.
  • Enhanced DBS/Update service.
  • References required for the last 5 years of employment.
