3 X Qualified Social Worker urgently required asap in the Duty & Assessment Team , Central area of Lancashire Starting date – ASAP HOURLY RATE BETWEEN £34 – £45 PER HOUR DEPENDENT UPON WORKER’S EXPERIENCE Must Have: 12+ months experience. We aim for caseloads to be between 15 and 22 (depending the function you are working in). We pay your mileage and we have a time of in lieu policy. We currently take a hybrid approach to our work; we mainly work from home but there are opportunities to come together as a team when required.Wrexham are currently looking for experienced social workers in the Looked After Children Team Wrexham offer:

? Between £33 – £38 per hour dependent on relevant experience

? £100 per week accommodation allowance dependent on distance from Wrexham

? Maximum of 15 cases – that is children not families

? 2 week induction (will need to be in the office for at least 3 days during this time)

? Thereafter 2/3 days per week to undertake visits in the area and to be on duty approx. 1 day in every 8+ working days

? Access to all training provided by Wrexham Workforce Development (other than ABE)

? Regular formal supervision

? Access to daily informal guidance from TM/ATM

? Really supportive, steady and friendly team

? Excellent newly refurbished office accommodation with very cheap parking next to the building

? Required to be registered with Social Care Wales

You must have:

  • A professional qualification in social work and experience of working with Children's
  • Social Work England registration.
  • Post qualified experience.
  • Enhanced DBS/Update service.
  • References required for the last 5 years of employment.
