Job Description
An opportunity has arisen for 2x Senior Occupational Therapist (OT) on a 6-month contract within The Independent Living Service and supporting the health and care hub for early discharges.
The post also includes some weekend working on a rota and hours of work, probably 10-6 pm. You will be working with Social Workers, Community Assessments Officers ( CAO) and other health professionals.
The Independent Living Service has 26 staff made up of Occupational Therapists, Disability Officer and ( CAO)and includes the Sensory Team and Telecare Team. The OT aims to provide specialist input into meeting the needs of people with disabilities across the District to promote their independence by offering advice /techniques, equipment, adaptations, and support.
This post offers an opportunity to contribute to the ongoing development of innovative ways of working across health and social care to improve the experience of service users and carers and promote well-being and independence.
