Please be aware this is a Long Term Temporary post to start ASAP.

Our Conference and Review Unit are looking for someone to organise and take notes for LADO (Local Area Designated Officer) meetings. You will need to be able to take an accurate record of the meeting and capture the recommendations. The successful candidate must be proactive, be able to show initiative and have the ability to work independently but also as part of a team.

You will be responsible for taking detailed & accurate notes of the meeting and updating the necessary records with the outcome of the meetings into an electronic database. The notes will need to be disseminated to professionals. There will also be an online filing system to maintain.

Strong organisation skills are required along with a good level of IT competence in order to work with the database & spreadsheets. Excellent word processing skills are required in order to record notes of the discussion during the meeting.

You should be able to demonstrate the ability to communicate with colleagues.
You must demonstrate knowledge of the facilities provided by our service and should possess good communication skills.

You will need to have:

  • Experience in taking notes of meetings
  • Good organisational skills and use own initiative
  • Work as part of a team
  • Have excellent attention to detail
  • Knowledge of General Data Protection regulations

Note post is part time 18 hours to be worked over 5 days
