Job Description

Bromley Council is seeking an experienced Adults Social Worker to join their Adult Social Care locality team based at Churchill Court, Bromley (BR1 1AS).

This is a busy locality team role requiring a committed, experienced practitioner who is ready to hit the ground running. You will carry a varied caseload encompassing Care Act assessments, Mental Capacity Assessments (MCAs), Continuing Healthcare (CHC), duty work, case management, and support planning. You will work closely with multi-professional colleagues and manage the pressures inherent in a busy locality setting.

The successful candidate must hold a recognised social work qualification and be registered with Social Work England. Demonstrable experience across the full range of adults’ social care functions — particularly Care Act assessments, CHC, and MCA — is essential.
