Job Description

Powys County Council is seeking a qualified Social Worker based at Ladywell House, Park Street, Newtown, Powys (SY16 1EG). This is a locum role paying between £28.35 and £37.14 per hour, available from 17 August 2026. Powys is a large, rural county in mid-Wales — the role will involve travel across a wide geographical area.
