Job Description

Birmingham Children’s Trust — rated ‘Good’ by Ofsted — is seeking an experienced Senior Social Worker to join their North District Team, based in Aston, Birmingham (B6 4DU). The Trust’s mission is to make Birmingham the greatest city to grow up in, driving up the quality of practice and partnerships across the city.

This hybrid role involves 2 days in the office and 3 days working within the community, supporting a stable team with permanent members and consistent management. The successful candidate will have experience across Child in Need, Child Protection, Children in Care, and PLO (Public Law Outline) work.

A car driver with business use insurance is required for this role.

Rate: £22.50 – £30.57 per hour. Start date: 17 August 2026.
