Job Description
Durham County Council is recruiting a Family Group Conference and Lifelong Links Coordinator to join their Family Group Conference Service on a temporary basis, based in Nettlesworth (DH2 3PQ) at £20.29 per hour from 26 July 2026.
This is an unqualified social care role supporting families to establish safe plans for children to remain in the care of their parents or wider family network. Working independently alongside social worker assessments, you will coordinate Family Group Conferences and Lifelong Links processes, helping families develop their own solutions to safeguarding concerns.
The service operates 7 days a week and workers manage their own diaries. You will be expected to meet with family members outside of normal working hours where necessary, so flexibility is essential.
If you have experience in family support, restorative practice, or coordinating family-led planning processes and are available from late July 2026, please get in touch.
