Family Support Worker – Family Intensive Support Team – #5299877

Job Description

Semester Recruitment is seeking a Family Support Worker for Lancashire County Council’s Children, Families & Wellbeing Service, based across Lancaster (Lune Park) and Morecambe (Poulton Centre). This is a temporary role paying £18.81 per hour, starting 1 August 2026.

Working within the Family Intensive Support Team, you will provide targeted support to children and families, drawing on your knowledge of safeguarding and your ability to undertake assessments of need and implement multi-agency plans.

Key requirements include demonstrable knowledge and experience of safeguarding children and families, experience of undertaking assessments of need, and the ability to contribute to and implement multi-agency support plans. A full job description is available on request.
