Adults Social Worker – Learning Disability and Autism Team – #5299660

Job Description

Newcastle City Council is seeking an Adults Social Worker for an initial 4-week engagement, with a view to extension, based at Westgate Community College, NE4 9LU (NE4). The role offers office-based working with some hybrid flexibility.

You will be expected to complete assessments and reviews for adults, with a preference for candidates who have experience working with autistic adults or adults with a learning disability.

The rate is £27.56 per hour via the Comensura framework. The role starts 5 July 2026.
