Job Description

Lincolnshire County Council is seeking an experienced Childrens Social Worker for a locum placement based in Spalding, PE11 1QF. The role is offered on an agency basis via Prism, with a start date of 20 July 2026 and a competitive day rate of £164.28 – £223.75.

You will manage a complex and varied caseload, undertaking assessments, care planning, and reviews whilst ensuring all safeguarding responsibilities are met. Working collaboratively with multi-agency partners, you will deliver effective interventions to improve outcomes for children and families, maintain accurate case records, and participate in team meetings and reflective supervision.

To be considered you must hold a recognised social work qualification (BA, MA, or DipSW), be currently registered with Social Work England, and have a minimum of two years’ post-qualifying experience.
