Job Description

Wakefield Council requires three Senior Social Workers on a temporary basis, covering sickness absence (x2 posts) and maternity leave (x1 post). All roles are based in Wakefield (WF1 1DF) and pay £35 per hour.

Candidates must have previous experience as a Fostering Supervising Social Worker. Interviews will be held on Thursday 2nd July or Friday 3rd July 2026, with a start date of Monday 6th July 2026. The contract runs until 4th October 2026.
