Job Description

An experienced Senior Social Worker is required for a locality Child Protection team based in Featherstone, Pontefract (WF7 5WW), working with Wakefield Children’s Services.

This is a temporary assignment running from 22 June to 31 August 2026, paying £35 per hour.

You will be a qualified Social Worker registered with Social Work England, bringing solid experience in child protection casework within a locality team setting. Experience working to DfE standards and attributes is expected.
