Job Description

Semester Recruitment is seeking an experienced Childrens Social Worker for Lincolnshire County Council, based at Lamb Gardens, Lincoln (LN2 4EQ). This is a locum role paying £164.28–£223.75 per day, commencing 6 July 2026.

This post covers the full spectrum of children’s statutory work, including CIN, Child Protection, and Children in Care. You will undertake Child and Family Assessments, Parenting Assessments, Sibling Assessments, and Risk and Protective Carers Assessments, as well as implementing and reviewing CIN and CP plans.

The role involves Public and Private Law proceedings and requires confident multi-agency working to develop robust, child-centred plans in which the voice, safety, and wellbeing of each child remains central to all intervention.

Candidates must hold a recognised social work qualification and be registered with Social Work England. Recent, relevant experience across CIN, CP, and CIC work is essential.
