Job Description

An opportunity has arisen for a Childrens Advanced Practitioner to join Barnsley’s children’s services on a temporary basis, working with the Children in Care team. The role is based at Westgate Plaza One, Barnsley (S70 2DR) and runs from 1 June to 1 September 2026, paying £37 per hour.

This is a qualified social work role requiring Social Work England registration. Candidates will hold an advanced practitioner-level skill set and have substantial experience working with looked-after children and the complexities associated with that caseload.
