Job Description

Semester is recruiting two temporary Residential Care Officers for City of Doncaster Council’s Children, Young People and Families service, based at 17 Oaklands Avenue, Hatfield, Doncaster, DN7 6JL.

These are 3-month contracts (1 June – 31 August 2026) covering vacancies and sickness absence. You will be working in a residential home supporting long-term children with learning disabilities, a range of complex needs, and challenging behaviours. Personal care is a core part of the role.

Shift pattern is rota-based across two shifts — 07:00–15:00 and 14:00–22:00 — including evenings and weekends. No sleep-in duties are required.

Rate: £14.13 per hour (via XMS portal).
