Job Description

Bromley Council is seeking an experienced Childrens Senior Social Worker or Specialist Social Worker to join their Referral and Assessment Service, based at Churchill Court, Bromley (BR1 1AS). The role offers a day rate of £214.49–£282.06, starting 1 June 2026.

The Referral and Assessment Service receives all new referrals from Bromley MASH and undertakes Child and Family assessments to determine how best children’s needs can be met. The service comprises seven teams, each led by a Team Manager and supported by five social workers. Teams rotate onto duty for one week in every seven, during which social workers receive new allocations.

Candidates must have significant experience of working in Referral and Assessment. The role is office-based, with a minimum of three days per week on-site at Churchill Court required.
