Job Description
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Family Group Conference Facilitator to support Darlington’s ongoing commitment to relational practice and family led decision making. In this pivotal role, you will empower families to take the lead in planning for their children’s safety, wellbeing, and future. You will coordinate and facilitate high quality Family Group Conferences, bringing together children, parents, extended family and friends networks and professionals to create meaningful and achievable Family Plans. Through skilled preparation, collaboration, and clear communication, you will ensure families have the information, confidence, and support they need to make informed decisions and agree plans that reflect their own strengths and solutions. Working closely with multi agency partners, you will uphold Darlington’s relational approach—building trust, fostering collaboration, and ensuring that every decision keeps the child’s voice and needs at the centre. Strong organisational skills, the ability to manage your own caseload, and excellent report writing and communication skills are essential.
