Job Description

Please be aware this is a Long Term Temporary post to start ASAP.

The following is essential criteria:

– Degree in Social Work

– SWE Registration

– Right to work within the UK

We are in need of 2 specialist practitioners to work for the Calderdale Emergency Duty Team. 

The practitioners will need to be qualified social workers and have a warrant to practice as an approved mental health professional.

As this is an out of hours role, the practitioners will be expected to work a combination of night and day shifts; night shifts are 16 hours and day shifts on a weekend can be between 8-10 hours.  

Please be aware this is a Long Term Temporary post to start ASAP.

You must have:

  • A professional qualification in social work

  • Social Work England registration.

  • Post qualified experience.

  • Enhanced DBS/Update service.

  • References required for the last 5 years of employment.
